There's been a clear improvement in joint flexibility. Long running issues I've had with muscle and nerve pain in my back have cleared up completely, BUT the carpal tunnel is becoming unbearable and the joint stiffness is solely localised around my wrists and hands now, to the point i have to move my thumbs into place at times because they appear to seize up. I lowered the dose to 2iu daily, but as the sides still haven't gone, i'm taking a break to see how long it takes to clear up.

It’s great that your flexibility and back pain have improved, but the worsening carpal tunnel and joint stiffness sound concerning. Taking a break seems like a smart move—hopefully, the symptoms clear up soon. Keep monitoring how your body responds!

I've been off it for a month and the issues are still there; stiff thumbs and wrists.

Any numbness, tingling, pain, or lack of dexterity?
There are 3 loves in my life: my wife, my English mastiffs, and my weightlifting....Man, my wife gets really pissed when I get the 3 confused...

A little lack of dexerity in that my thumbs feel stiff, but after a little movement they regain their flexibility. Luckily, there's no numbness or tingling, just discomfort. Any advice?

As long as you don't have any of the issues I mentioned above, I believe it will work out ok. If you start having a lot of numbness or dexterity issues, I would probably seek out a hand surgeon to see if you just need a little physical therapy or if there is more to it.

How old are you and do you work with your hands a lot?
