    HGH and joint pain

    Usage: 2iu ED

I've been on HGH for 6 weeks now and my knee joints ache and feel stiff. I've also got mild carpal tunnel.

Does anyone know how HGH affects joints, given its action is meant to improve and repair joint mobility?

I can't find much online, but I'm hoping it subsides as I'm planning on upping the dose to 4iu when i start my cycle shortly.

    Thanks

There's been a clear improvement in joint flexibility. Long running issues I've had with muscle and nerve pain in my back have cleared up completely, BUT the carpal tunnel is becoming unbearable and the joint stiffness is solely localised around my wrists and hands now, to the point i have to move my thumbs into place at times because they appear to seize up. I lowered the dose to 2iu daily, but as the sides still haven't gone, i'm taking a break to see how long it takes to clear up.

It’s great that your flexibility and back pain have improved, but the worsening carpal tunnel and joint stiffness sound concerning. Taking a break seems like a smart move—hopefully, the symptoms clear up soon. Keep monitoring how your body responds!

I've been off it for a month and the issues are still there; stiff thumbs and wrists.

Any numbness, tingling, pain, or lack of dexterity?

A little lack of dexerity in that my thumbs feel stiff, but after a little movement they regain their flexibility. Luckily, there's no numbness or tingling, just discomfort. Any advice?

As long as you don't have any of the issues I mentioned above, I believe it will work out ok. If you start having a lot of numbness or dexterity issues, I would probably seek out a hand surgeon to see if you just need a little physical therapy or if there is more to it.

How old are you and do you work with your hands a lot?

I'm 46 and apart from the usual work on a computer and training, I don't use my hands much.

Maybe i'm playing down the discomfort a bit, the stiffness can be painful in the morning when I move my hands or try and reach behind my back, but the pain isn't constant, just when flexing my hands and it's localised around the thumb and side wrist area. From what I've researched, this is because HGH causes pressure on the nerves in the hand?

You may be experiencing CTS or other condition from your work on a computer. It never hurts to mention it to your Dr.

They may recommend you go through some physical therapy or possibly see an occupational therapist or they may refer you to an a practice that specializes in hand and wrist conditions.
