Are you using any of the new Keto Supplements? If you actually get through this one I am interested to see how it works.

I haven't yet, it's a bit expensive and I haven't researched it enough. Kegenix is all I really know about it and that's just from listening to two podcast with Dom D'agostino. Which according to him works very well.

I will admit, when I was cutting for my last show in my Keto diet I got stredded and muscles felt full as F all the time. Granted I think it was 6-10 weeks only. But my strength never dipped and I felt good all the way up until the last week because of diet and water restrictions.

You probably know 99% of the stuff in this article but it's one of the most extensive ones I know on the subject.

I did, very briefly. Yeah, they helped a small amount (Keto O/S and MCT oil did anyway), and then I thought "wtf am I doing? Broccoli and potatoes are a shedload cheaper, and more effective".

That's how I roll, even though potatoes are the last thing I add upon reverse dieting out of a cut. Start with meat, then pounds of veg, then add in potatoes for bulking after the weight stabilizes.

I have intense and painful cramps every time I attempted to do abs in isolation, it has always been that way.

That sucks man. It would drive me nuts. I tend to do a few sets of HLRs and ab wheel to failure on my bench and overhead days, respectively.

Exercising them indirectly does enough for me to keep them toned, I can do obliques also no prob but I abs need to avoid isolating the rectum abdominis or I'll be in a lot of pain lol.

    Off day today,

Had to fast for my blood work today. Didn't have much energy after. Probably do some cardio in the AM.

Morning guys & gals what's going on? Hope you all had a great holiday... figured I'd share some stats since just starting back consistently again and where I'm at now as opposed to 12wks from now!

Had a nice little two days off and today I'm hitting delts & traps I'm thinking or chest bis not sure I can do either then hit the opposite tomorrow! Strength is coming back
Shoulder smith press hit 275 last wk for 6ish
Incline smith press hit 285 for 7
CG smith bench hit 315 for 7-8 I believe
BB Bent over rows hit 275 8-10 pyramiding up to that weight

So today we shall see what I can do on either shoulder press(which is pre-exhausted and last) or on chest may do DB work on chest today tho

Interesting, seems it's worth while to ingest Ketone salts prior to cardio/exercise sessions. Unless you're a top end cyclist or something lol

    Flat getting after it Nach!

I've had a bad chest cold the last three days. Going to try and get a light workout and cardio session to day to get the lungs to clear out a little.

Got an OK workout in today.

Chest and Tris with a bit of shoulder since I missed shoulders on Sunday.
First day back in the gym, have had a bad chest cold for several days. Hung out in the sauna to move things along. Felt weak so went lighter on bench and decided to do some isolating triscep exercises to work through some of the weak feeling from the cold. I did do about 20 minutes of HIIT which made my lungs feel great while doing it. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back to 100%

Love sitting in the sauna and just sweating things out I've seem to have a sorta rebound from my head cold not long ago but it's been rainy and nasty here on the east coast lately... at least cooler though

My back and Bi's workout was terrible today so I aborted it and just did 30min of cardio. I had no energy and was sore all over. I'll try again tomorrow.

Finally got my gas block today at a local gun store. They had to order it in. Put it all together and it's ready for its first run at the range tomorrow.

    MS,

I got through the full study (Link here) and was wondering if you have the same conclusion as me which is that if you want to quickly switch over to fat burning mode and do not care about impacting performance this compound is actually useful.

    Thanks

That's what I got out of it too. The performance numbers are only impactful if you are an athlete per say. If your goal is to get into fat loss then I think it's safe to say trading a bit of performance is ok.

Interestingly I have heard and read adding a ketone salt helps "prime," the system for fat loss. I have been searching for a review study to see what the body of literature says.

Rest day today, went to the shooting range to practice with my CCW weapon and test out my new AR build. Which didn't go so well with the AR. Got to do some minor adjustment to the bolt and such.

Damn what issues? Like the way that build turned out, looks sleek!

I plan on shooting some this weekend, or at least hoping to. Still need to sight in my night vision and shoot my new 9mm shield.

I was still feeling ache from my chest cold. No point in having both a shitty workout and delaying my recovery. But I am itching to get in and back at it!

I honestly think nothing more than dry parts. I tried to use as little oil as possible so that it doesnt collect lots of gunk. But after all that I tore it all down bolt and all and soaked EVERYTHING in gun oil. It ran a lot smoother after that. Unfortunately I had to leave the range to extract the live round because I didn't have enough tools to pull it out. That was a first for me, found out that I wouldn't have been a good gun smith
