haha yea they are. i saw an episode of austin stevens the snake master, where he was riding in a boat thorugh a swamp in florida, then he sees something and jumps out of the boat and starts wrestling with something. he pulls it out of the water and its a good sized aligator snapping turtle. seeing that mouth wide open is intimidating to say the least
