theres a pretty well known story about the ak i heard on the history channel. this guy in vietnam took one off a dead vc, and brought it back to america. he left it in a locker for a year or two and when he opened the locker again, the ak was rusted shut, like the bolt/action. it was totally rusted shut, so he set the gun against the wall, kicked the action open, loaded it, and it worked perfectly
