    so then my body does need in the 1000%'s for these vitamins? I just dont want to spend a fortune on vitamins if im pissing half of it out you know what i mean. Maybe if i had more vitamin C i wouldnt have a cold 365 days a year.

    The %'s listed are recommended dosages suggested by the same people that provide us with the food pyramid. Optimum dosages are generally much higher.

    Ok, so if you look at the first post on this thread you will find my diet. It's a fairly solid diet i think, but i dont get very many calories with it. I have currently had the first 3 meals and only have like 700 calories or somethign like that. Is it ok if im not getting a lot of calories? will i still grow with a low calorie intake?

    well 700 cals in 3 meals is very little.. considering 10-14 grams of fat 90-126 cals plus 35-45 grams of pro 140-180 cals.. per meal..

    Right...

    Well by the end of the day im guessing that i will be struggling to even get 2000 calories in assuming i follow that diet exactly. Is that going to be enough. Also before my workout like i said i will not have many calories for the day. So basically, what can i do to add more calories without sacraficing the cleaness of the diet.

    Alright, here is another question. Sorry if im being annoying. I realize that calories are energy. But what will be the effect if im not getting enough of them but still getting 200g protein? Will i just be tired?

    If you're not getting enough fat then you body will hoard the bodyfat that you do have - so no fat loss.

    If you're not getting enough carbs, the insullin levels will not be adequate to shuttle your protein to your muscles - so no muscle gain.

    But I'm fat, so don't listen to me.

    Yea, i think im getting a good amount of pro, fat, and carbs. I just dont think my sources rae high enough in calories. Oh well i will figure it out. I could eat a piece of pizza everyday, that would through in another 500 calories.......

    If you're getting enough protein, fat, and carbs, then by definition, you would get enough calories. Where else would you get more calories if you're not going to add protein, fat, or carbs?

    Im not saying im afraid to add more of those 3 im just saying that with the diet i propose, i dont see there being enough calories. Maybe I am wrong, this is really my first day using this diet. I will add everything up at the end of the day.

    ok bro. . you can TRY cutting with 2000kcals but for most ppl it will be too low for 200 pounder. you gotta try it out for a while. thats what i did, i am now 225 and been bulking with 3100kcal, also i cut with around 2100. .fun fun

    I'm 210, 10-11% bf and i've been cutting with 2300kcals.
