The gut is definately smaller, the shoulders look a little bigger aswell.
you look exactly the same but just alittle tanner...no change..i think the pic fools u into thinking there might be a change in the gut...or even maybe a fraction in the biceps..but to me its a before and after tanning picture

After my first major back injury i was never the same. I do not use my glute and ab muscles as much becouse i have trained my body to avoid using my back as much as possible. It wasnt somthing i tried to do it happens when you feel pain. You just approach things diffrently. I know hundreds of guys who were in great shape when younger and now strugle. And i also know quite a few older guys who never did much in the gym and were thin who worked out for a few years and Bam.. they were stacked. Initial muscle growth with training even at later stages in your life is alot more dramatic in most cases. And this is one of the reasons why newbies who use AAS explode their first few cycles. The muscle has never been stressed enough to grow. Also not stressed enough to injure. After all muscle growth comes from tears and repairing. I am not making a half cocked excuse. I have seen this happen countless times. I know you are married ect.. But you are also young and very motivated. After awhile with most people the motivation leaves for one reason or another. Somtimes just for awhile sometimes for good. there are 24 hours in a day. And when you have other things in your life that take up the majority of that time you end up having to sacrafice. In my case i put training on the back burner for three years. I didnt do anything. But half of this was a choice and the other half was what i had to do as a result of a few major injurys. A quad tear in each leg. a Herniated disc in my lower back. Also was diagnosed with degen disc deaise. Tendeitus in my right forearm. Nerve damage from an on the job accident. So like i said, yes it is an excuse but it isnt an excuse like the dog ate my homework.. or i work a 9-5 and just cant make it to the gym. I am of the same mindset as you are on this. People who have time to sit on their asses and play games, or watch TV or whatever.. are making excuses. Somone who has a family, a yard and home that needs upkeeping. A 12 hour work day and other things on a daily basis are excused from the lame ass excuse club.
Tranzit,
As someone who is getting back into the weight game after 10+ years and falling into that 35-40 age range, I salute your post... in my twenties I would of been the first to call BS on your post... I was every bit as arrogant and cocky as the other members on this board come off... probably more of a dick at times I am sure... I just couldn't believe that you could let anything get in your way of training... and if you did, you were just a wuss and cry baby... I had no respect for that and knew for d*mn sure that was not how it was going to go down with me...training = life... black & white baby... end of story. Wow, here I am sitting here which is a million miles away from were I thought I would be... life does happen, life gets in the way and there are still only 24 hours in a day... for those that can pull it off I am in awe, better time managers than me but honestly I don't know how you can do it all without something seriously being neglected... it is a different ballgame, that being said life tends to, at some point, come full circle... life is slowing down a little bit, the kids are more self-sufficient, the wife and I are in a stable groove, job and business is falling in stride so now my focus is again turning to what I have missed for so long...lifting (and squating...couldn't help it)
And to bring it back on topic I am much the same as goalseeker... it's been a long time since I lifted or did any kind of gear... but in the interest of someone that did pretty much anything from andy candies to gh to dnp to t3 and insulin and everything in between during my twenties, I probably will be interested in jumping back on gear soon.... the allure is just to tempting especially after you know what it has done for you in the past... I am not looking to be a pro or even compete, just bending that growing curve a little bit faster... not convinced there is anything wrong with this if everyone's goals are as skewed as they are on a board like this... but threads like this remind me why I don't post pics
good luck to you goalseeker...keep your eyes on it!
Good posts guys.......
Ya know what guys, maybe he should have trained more natty before he started juicin, but at 35 years of age and up, your body isn't producin as much test as when your younger, so 500mg per week of test can be done at that age right from the start IMHO, I should have waited longer too before I started juicin, but I started losin bf and just couldnt wait, kinda like askin a kid to wait til boxin day to open his xmas gifts, I can definately see ad difference, not a huge one, but definately some fat loss, which tells me that he is workin on his cardio and diet, because with deca and test, weight loss isnt gonna happen if your not eatin right and doin the cardio, keep up the good work, it's great to see guys my age tryin to still improve, best of luck to ya!!
Thanks bro.. Im on week seven now, those pics were a month ago. I have leaned out even more, and now Im starting to cut.. Im not gonna post anymore pics till the end of the cycle so people can see a real difference. I shouldnt have posted those others so soon, but I did it to give me more of a drive towards my goal. And it worked. I knew there would be negative comments after posting...., doesnt bother me. But I still give bros positive comments when they post theyre pics, cuz I know it helps and gives them encouragement...
keep it up, feel free anytime to pm me your progress pics, nice to have someone my age to relate too, great job!!Originally Posted by goalseeker

I just love tranzit, he is for real and knows his shit, and he is absolutely correct and I could not have said it better myself.
I wish you good luck goalseeker, and hope you get satisfied with your gains. It is definitely looking better and with more definition later on you will be very happy, just have patience with the process.
You definately lost weight. Looks like 10-15lbs of fat. What about the scale? How does it read? Looks to me like you wanted to bulk but dieted like you were cutting which ultimately stagnated your gains.
Goodluck with the cutter...
f-- it man he is still in better shape then the average dude in the USA man you have lost some good BF around the gut and seem to have lost some water and BF on your upper body..dude I think after your take some time off get away from the stress of life ...ie..a holiday in the sun mate you will work your self inshape..dude have fun bro your back pics look sick man....f--off to everyone who is second guessing him about cycling...if he has been lifting off and on for 8 years his muscle memory should kick in after a couple of weeks..24 days you look def leaner man...dont mind the haters...they think it is only cool for them to juice..and they find reason why everyone else should not be juicing...BS..everyone is their own man..and will live and grow with the choices thery make
definite change between pics 1 and 2. gut has gone down a bit, and v-taper is much more noticeable. also biceps look as though they have slightly more peak to them. good luck with the rest of the cycle. -B-STRONG
