my suggestion for you is to teach him to cook for himself, and for you to give up the weights for now, and stay with him.. what he really wants is a man that he can interact with..

it will be what turns him around..

took mike to a wresling club last week. he is thinking about joining up. hes worried about the conditioning . the coach told him he could get there but it will take alot of work and all the boys started out, out of condition. we will see......i am hoping he wants, but i wont force him. heres a pic from this seasons all star game we played in houston. we had to beat the team, refs, fans and even the clock, great game could have went either way. mike started at center, no bad snaps! but he did get a flag for hitting late. he likes to roam around a pile up and take cheap shots at poor little defencive backs. the pic is him and the head coach, who coaches at a high school. this was his second time coaching mike and told me, mike was the first lineman he called. we"ve been working on his shot put, we gave up on the discus, he is to clumsy to spin.

I think everything you got him doing is great for him. I agree with all the previous posts, I wish I would have had someone help me when I was younger. Keep him on the right track. Not everyone wants to be a bodybuilder, just as long as he's happy and healthy you both are in for a good life!

Was just reading through the thread and realized how old it was and figured some newbie just bumped it with useless info. Pleasant surprise to see an actual update after such a long time.

The minute I read the first post my immediate thought was "put this kid in a football uniform." it looks like that is what happened and even tho he isn't skinny and ripped I'm sure his cardio and conditioning is in good order.

Get him involved with some sports and get his parents to watch they are putting into his body. Wish you and your family all the best.
