LoL how'd you fall off? You don't need to go so fast, just enough to be 'feeling it'. I just want you breathing heavy and sweating, but not DYING.

Stepmill is going to kick your ass. I mean this in a good way, so don't be scared. It's by far the best cardio in the gym IMO.

It's definitely possible, actually it's probable. Most likely what you're experiencing is drop in water retention (bloating) which will DEFINITELY make you feel better, and can also show some visible results as well. Don't worry though, in my own experience I didn't see much of any change in the first 6 weeks... but by week 8 I was like "HOLY SH!T!" - it seems to happen magically, overnight. Now, keep in mind that my dieting at the time was ALL wrong (I basically starved myself) - if I knew then what I know now, I think I would have done even better. With that, I expect you'll see better results then I did because you're getting good info.

But just in case, don't get discouraged if you don't notice any major changes over the next month or so. I promise you it will happen, just give your body time to adjust. You didn't get fat in a month...

You're welcome bro, it's my pleasure. Seeing you transform will give me great satisfaction and in turn motivate me to do better for myself as well, so we all win!

How are you coming along with that revised diet? I'd ideally like to see something you can implement starting Monday...

You tell me if you see a difference or not.

Take a look and be honest... I see a difference you think it's all water weight?

I just wanted to point out in my avatar, I am 5'8" 192 lbs and mid 20s bodyfat.

The reason I bring this up is because originally I was in in the upper 30s and it destroyed my confidence when I was told I mid 20s, only to lose 25 lbs and find out my bodyfat is NOW in the mid 20s. It seems like I make progress and then lost it all. But in reality the numbers were wrong and I have to use the mirror as a progression meter. I got down to about 174 then back up to 192 when I started on TRT.

I wouldn't rely on the bodyfat measurments too much as progress, they'll let you down for sure. Thats all I am saying.

Lol, I was thinking the same thing!!!! If those pics are legit, that's awesome!!

  17. #57
those pics are as legit I swear I need help why would I lie for. I'm still fat. I have been drinking alot of water and I have excercise everyday. I have done everything that you have told me brice. That's why I was asking if that's normal. Now you're scaring me.

  18. #58
I took them with my camera phone I swear it's from a week ago.. Dude seriously don't scare me.

  19. #59
I bet I know what it is... I haven't had any soda in a week. I don't drink anything else other that water now. I use buy the ritz 3 liters and have that everyday.... grape and orange were my favorite.... could that be it? If it's not it i'm going to the hospital now... I mean I feel great.

  20. #60
what do i need to do so that from this point on you wont question my pics. Away that you know those pics are legit. I am trusting you completely and your method is working for me but I need you to trust me when I post pics because if you don't then what's the point. I was talking to my girl friend and she totaly notice a difference and I got a buddy of mine doing it with me for motivation. So please lets do something so that we don't run into this again. I tell everyone the truth is alot easier to remember and defend.

  21. #61
I got it I will take the pics on the day you say and even better you can email me something a picture a phrase something unique that I would only use on that day to take pics with. how about that? I hate having to defend myself.

  22. #62
I don't think he calling you a lier. That's just unbelievable bro!! At this rate, you'll be in shape in no time! Yeah, kicking the pop is the hard part! You haven't had any caffeine headaches?

  23. #63
All the time... I'm craving some pop right now but I am on a mission. I will post pics next week when brice tells me lets see. How I look then.

LoL RELAX bro!!! I'm not calling you a liar at all, Jpey is right in that it's just amazing. I was just astonished, that's all. I do trust you, because you'd only be hurting yourself if you weren't being honest.

Keep doing what you're doing, it's CLEARLY working. You obviously weren't as fat as you thought, you were just bloated to fvck!! How are your clothes fitting, any looser?

  25. #65
Dude!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's awesome... I haven't stopped excercising i do it in the morning and then again when i get home..... I read somewhere excercising on an empty stomach helps alot. I went to see my doctor since you freaked me out. He says that it def the soda and the water is flushing out all the toxins... My legs aren't swollen anymore i guess i was retaining water dude to the pop.

great thread.. keep up the good work Gabe.. i HATE cardio, and found starting on the stairmaster was easiest.. i started out at 10 min and now am up to 30 min after just a few months.. this IS NOT a race, this is a life style change, just remember that, keep your head up and keep posting.. this site and your results will be all the motivation you need to achieve the goals you have set for yourself.

GB, i got a lot of respect for you taking this guy under your wing. Hopefully through his results we can show all those 20 y.o. kids who come on here wanting to take steroids what a bit of hard work and a proper diet can achieve.

i'm subscribing to this thread, so keep on posting

FYI, Gabe.. nutritionaldata.com is a good site to get info on breakdowns of good.. it has different weights/measurements of food and benefits/draw backs etc.. and it is free.. i usually just google the food followed by nutritional data and it is on the top of the results for google.

Wow, ok now I know I need to be careful with you... you are gonna take everything I say very VERY literally lol.

Doing CARDIO on an empty stomach is one thing; you should not be weight training on an empty stomach. Just to make that clear.

I wanna see that diet plan! We need to get that squared away before we can move on to a workout schedule. One step at a time. I know I told you i'd rather you take your time then to half ass it, but I don't want weeks to go by where you could potentially be making even MORE progress (if anybody can imagine that after seeing his pics)!

Thanks Bass! Where you been bro?

Dude, the pics are hard to swallow, especially the side view one. I mean, he's half the size. But look at it this way - in either pic, he needs to lose bodyfat regardless, so I don't treat this any differently. And like I said earlier, if it WERE a lie (don't worry Gabe, I believe you, just saying IF), he'd only be cheating himself. I'll sleep like a baby tonight. =)

Thanks for the compliment, at least I took it that way. Keep in mind
That pictured is flexed and tanning appear to make me more defined than I am. Thats why I have it up.

Estimates with that pic were in around 23-25% average from this board.

My point is not to argue bodyfat % but just to suggest not to rely on those numbers that much. Some clinics will give you bogus numbers to make it appear you are better off than you are, to keep you coming back and spending $$.
