Get unsweetened Almond milk and it's gtg. Note it has very little protein though... it's not a true 'milk' and not comparable to one.Originally Posted by cliffjumper
Read all replies, I gave my opinion on this.Originally Posted by cliffjumper

Gb has a good point, it's not milk but has the texture of it, the unsweetened vanilla is my personal fav. It's good to mix with a shake. Mix a lil ground oats, scoop of whey, some egg whites and no fat Greek yogurt. YumOriginally Posted by gbrice75
U can omit the Greek yogurt if cutting to, has a bit of sugar, even the reduced sugar ones have like 7-10g

Like gb said, it is a complicated topic; so you should read all the replies and even do your own "research." I wouldn't worry too much about it if you haven't been experiencing problems. Again like gb already informed you, many of the milk alternatives aren't actually milk and have significantly less protein sans soy milk. Soy milk has its own potential problems though.
I drink and ungodly amount of milk while on a bulk and I have a belly to prove it!
Only time I ever drink milk is with cereal. That is almost never.
I'm still not convinced about milk having any threatening amount of estrogen... It reminds me of the old myth of the 15 year old girl going thru menopause because she drank to much soy milk .... Ridiculous !Originally Posted by cliffjumper
I drink milk from September to the end of March with my shakes. It helps me to get my calories in and makes my shakes taste really fun.
From April to the end of August I cut out milk and fruit(to a minimum).
Didnt read the first page of replies but just wanted to add that i dropped milk form my diet as well because of all the sugar, not the fat. I drank fat free 0%.
And a big X2 on unsweetened Almond Milk. Better for you in the morning with your blended oats and protein powder!
