    i got paramedic school, and i work full time, and i have a girlfriend, and i workout 5 days a week, + clinical rotations / OR rotations are starting soon

    yea, im already a certified EMT-Basic, and i already did a year long fire academy last year, and am a certified firefighter, in TX, so now im gettin my paramedic in a fasttrack program which is only 10 months long compared to 2 years at other places, once i get my paramedic ill pretty much be guarunteed a job anywhere as a firefighter, and pretty good money as a medic

    Yeah, I completed fire tech, did a year of fire academy, and am EMT-certified.
    I still haven't gone to paramedic school, but that's because #1.) I don't think I'm going to take that path anymore, and #2.) If I did decide to go, two of my really good friends' fathers are both a Fire Captain and Fire Chief in their respected departments.

    why dont u wanna take that path anymore?

    houston fire department, unrestricted medics start off makin 40k a year, workin 24on 24off 24on 5days off, plenty of time to get huge

    Yeah it's good money, great benefits, good hours, but I dunno if I like the life expectency factor. Unlike other people I do wanna be around to see my grandkids grow up

    If you just do what your trained to do you should be fine, and if u promote u wont have to get anywhere near the fire but i think id rather perish in a fire, saving lives, than of old age after workin in a cubicle my entire life

    Yeah, I worked hand crew for a few fires here in SoCal, and bro, the sh*t I was cou***ng out was filthy. But I completely agree, thats why I'm going back to college in the fall and if what i choose to do after I graduate doesn't work out, I can always switch back.

    Dang, I injected into my right thigh this morning (Realize this is my second injection in over 2 years) and I forgot to relax my leg (I was prob a little nervous) and when i was halfway into inserting the needle I felt a SHARP pain, lol. Relaxed my leg a little bit and I got the rest of that sucker in
