The top IFBB's will use this in a different way to the guys on here, you have to remember they are comping and are in this depleted state many times so they can just rebound of that, alot of people on here and other boards dont even contest so there priming is slightly different to the contest guys, everybody is different and the exact protocol will change depending on the circumstances of the indivdual, but getting in that depleted state is a must but holding onto muscle tissue is also a key area to develope with pre-cycle priming.
