    I am curious if it is possible to be on a gram and a half of gear, training hard and eating big all while staying the same weight and losing muscle while gaining fat.

    Anything's possible, I guess. I took a week off lifting and I look like before I started steroids lol... Gains ain't loyal.

    Here's what I'm planning for my next cycle: no Arimidex. If I run into issues, I'll take nolva. I will let my estrogen run loose and see if that makes a difference. So far I've been taking an AI from the beginning with each cycle. Curious if you were running Adex as well throughout your cycles?

    No AI other than erase pro in which case you might as well say no AI. I did read that EQ will counteract aromatization from test. Not sire about the facts on this though.

    GH says eq is anti estrogenic . He did a good post explaining it. You’ll find it somewhere in the pct threads I think. I’ll dig it out if you can’t find it.
    A lot will say that it’s half as estrogeic as test as that’s what the profile on steroid.com says.

    But as far as I’m concerned gh word is gospel...

    Final update for this cycle. 4.5 months on 600mg test cyp and 600mg EQ. In the end I gained about 4-4.5 pounds and look quite a bit softer. In my final stretch I was at 4600 calories daily. Totaling about 650G carbs, 290G protein and 120 grams of fat. I gained a bit of strength but started to feel like shit overall in the past month. My arms and chest are the same size exactly as before starting. Quads grew almost an inch and calves are the same. Waist went up about an inch and a half. All in all I feel like it was a big fail and a waste of $. The lesson I will take away from this cycle is that Test and EQ are useless substances for me for putting on mass. The thing that gets me though is that even without gear I should’ve gotten more out of all this food and intense training I have been putting under my belt in the past almost 5 months. My fkin body composition just wont drastically change, not even a minuscule difference. I feel like I need to step back and look at my training approach and perhaps diet before thinking about putting more substances in my body. I will say my bench went up to 275 for a single, squat is at 340 for a single and I pulled 440 on dead. For me these aren’t small numbers so I obviously was doing something right to achieve strength gains. Why the size doesn’t follow is beyond me. I am sure that I am at my peak as far as CNS adaptation for strength therefore I will need to pack on more mass to progress strength wise. I don’t see a 315 pound bench or a 500 pound dead being 6’2 190.

    1) 4800 calories isn't enough for you, should've been 5500 or higher based on information provided

    2) seems like you had very unrealistic expectations using a base compound (Test) at a moderate dosage, paired with a weak steroid (EQ) at also a moderate dosage

    3) Macro split is not optimized. 290grams of protein is not necessary at 190lbs. Should've put those calories into more carbs. Carbs generate growth. Might've been too high fat too.

    4) All the calories in the world don't matter if your body has no way to assimilate them - this comes from micronutrients. Paying attention to only macros is missing 90% of your diet.

    It's unfortunately a classic example of why diet, training and sleep trump everything else. Don't know your exact food choices but can easily tell you didn't eat enough and probably the wrong foods as well.

    I would invest more time in diet before cycling again and you will have more success in the future when you master eating first.

    I think 12lbs a year of stage weight is good.
    Problem is, I don't think it's pure muscle

    Yeah but it’s probably all water weight. I mean people tend to put on 10 lbs in just water weight in a cycle. Especially if he said he looks softer and his waist grew. I’m with Meloncap on this one... steroids do jack shit for me too. Also I’m going to be eating less on my next cycle and fuck trying to put on more mass, I’m about 240 now. I’ll lose 15 lbs and be at 225, same as when I was 20. But, I’ll be leaner and look better.

    I think some people just respond better to steroids than others. There are idiots out there who know fuck all about diet and training and they put on 50 lbs on 500 mg test. Me, a veteran lifter who looks pretty big already, can’t put on even 5 lbs on almost a gram of gear? and on top of that I feel like absolute garbage on cycle. So I’m keeping my cycles short, maybe even just one month. I only feel good the first couple of weeks of a cycle and after I finish. During, I feel like trash mostly. I haven’t been to the gym in 3 weeks cause I got hemorrhoids (tmi) but it is what it is. I feel better about myself now than when I’m constantly obsessing over my body.

    2 weeks back at TRT dose and I already have more energy and my sleep is better. I feel the need to do a small cut now. I am already down to 189 but look quite a bit softer that when I first started which is odd. I hope it isn’t possible that I lost lean tissue and gained fat while on cycle. I don’t see how that could be scientifically doable lol. I was dealt a body that is genetically garbage when it comes to adding any size.
