i'm a newbie with respect to training....what do all your certifications stand for? and how hard are all of them to get? i'm seriously contemplating getting one this summer and was wondering which one you would suggest.....

National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Personal Trainer allows me to do personal training in a gym, studio, home, etc.
National Strength & Conditioning Association Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist allows me to do the former plus, I could go for my masters degree and do an internship at a major university. I would do the internship and aspire to be a strength coach for a sports team.
The CSCS requires you have a bachelor's degree.
The CPT does not.
