    WTF Is this ??

    OK guys....

    I am confused. I seem to be getting these weird red lines all over my shoulders every week after I bench press on mondays. Then by the end of the week w/ lotion etc they go away completely, then come back next time I bench press. I don't think they are stretch marks as they go completely away after 2-3 days when I put lotion on them, and there is no scar or anything afterwards. I am thinking about going to see my dermatologist. I have had this problem now for like 4 weeks.

    How wide is the bench you use? Looks simply like indentations from the bench - kinda like when you get pillow marks on your face.

    Nah it's not from my shoulders rubbing on anything.... I don't know what the hell these things are. But i am starting to get anoid, they pop up for like 4-5 days then go away by the weekend, then next monday comes around and they are back. It's like stretch marks but they aren't.... I have stretch marks on my pits so i know the difference. Weird **** though I'll say that much. It almost looks like my dog scratched me but it has no texture.... when you rub your hand on it, it is smooth

    i get em when i do standing calf raises...no worry...just the heavy weight pusing your shoulder into the bench

    $hit I didn't think of that..... I do calfs on bench day as well. Maybe that is what it is from.

    i get em all the time from standing calf raises and squats. its all good dont worry about it.

    Yea the pressure of the pads digging into my shoulders does that to me 2. I was freaked when I started working out and that happened

    i get marks similar to those when i use the leg press...the pads dig into my shoulders and leave what look like red scratch marks, but they are not scratched open...and they seem to go away in a week...then i get the usual 'wild sex' questions at school when everyone sees them...

    Yeah bro, it's from the stitching in your shirt getting pushed into your shoulders from the heavy weight. goes away in a day or two

    they are broken cappillaries... nothing to worry about at all.... they go away fast.. but you'll porb get them everytime you use heavy bars/machinices that rest on your shoulders/uppback
