yea i shouldve jumped on when they interviewed a dr. from uw-madison...he said the long-term risks of playing sports far outweighs the long-term risks of using steroids

actually you may be able to pull it off cnn.com...was a pretty good conversation....they had dr. fost and this idiot sleepy-eyed sports radio host kind of go back and forth....basically the dr.'s point was regarding health risks of athletes using steroids. he made a good point that an athletes health risks merely by playing the sport itself (referring to football and hockey) far outweighed the health risks of using gear. He said there was no cumulativer effect of the two either. IMO the health problems of most retired athletes involve arthritis and joint/tendon problems...something that certain steroids actually treat.
