"for the Irish will never die in spirit"..........'tis very true this week. My grandmother continues to linger in great pain. We're praying everyday now that the good lord will take her. It's heart breaking to see an old ladie suffer so much in her last hours.Originally posted by 9natural9

This is the reason EVERYONE should get a "Living Will" done, as it protects agaisnt just being "kept alive" by machines and if you make one out before your sickness it can be envoked as your will to be allowed to die if there is no hope and to be taken off of machines. It's the only thing I want ot happen to myself, there is no need for your family to suffer like this.
Let God's will be done and that's it. My Dad was in ICU for 21 days when he became fatally ill in 1999. After 20 days the dr's finally said there was no hope.....they invoked the Living Will, and removed the machines keeping him alive, and in 15 minutes his misery was over with.
Best wishes to you and your family.
