Are there any FORMER TSA people who knows what you could actually get away with getting through the airport aside from what is posted on the website. Is it likely that a 10ml bottle would be caught in a carry on if it were relabeled? Not that I would do it I am just curious. I know everyone will say mail it, I am sure there is someone out there who knows.

I guess noone knows the answer to this question. From what i researched you cannot take pins unless it is accompanied by insulin. I would bet they would catch something like that but I would doubt that a bottle or two would get caught in your bag mixed with your shaving kit or something.
