Well, thankfully, i never woke up numb. It was discovered during routine checks of the doctor. The tumor I had would press against my main veins in my arm which basically kept all the blood from flowing into my arm. Fortunately i rarely would fall asleep on my left side on top of my arm for this to happen. But i have been in situations, such as just stretched out on the couch where basically i didnt feel anything for a brief period of time. Based on where it was, the surgery was very dangerous as it could have resulted in me with a loss of a limb. It was actually operated on by the same surgeoun who operates on the president up in Bethesda. God was definitely on my side. I don't have the prettiest scar, but if i had no arm, i wouldnt have this scar to be thankful for... It's a blessing honestly. So i was only down to 25% of my bone and muscle in my arm...i still had one...
