No offence to the Canadian Men here but I have to say that for the most part, the men here are not very attractive at all. Present company excluded of course. Most of my girlfriends would have to agree that Canadian men are kinda well...dull, plain looking (except you Dally)

And yes, I dont find a lot of guys to be very attractive. I think theres deffinitely more attractive women in this world than men. And even if a woman is not great, there are ways for her to make herself look better, with makeup, dying hair etc...whereas with men, what you see is what you get (not refering to body but to face). Probably why you see so many attractive women on the arm of a not so attractive man.
