create your own or just buy?

Ive been reading up on conversion kits and stuff lately but have a lot of research still to come. im not looking for a source from this site so dont anybody "freak out." but i am currently looking for a source since i recently lost mine. is it generally easier to locate powders and convert or do people do it solely for cost? ive never made my own gear and am curious of the benefits. thanks for the time guys!

Cut the guy some slack, it sounds like he would like to just learn how to make his own sice he lost his source.

I would like to learn how to brew my own as well, I have good access t oa lot of stuff I would need, I guess I am just lazy. Your motivating me though Duke...

Mostly it is an economic thing. Even with a mediocre powder source, homebrew is cheap compared to UG gear. You know what you got, too. You know the potency. You know the BA and BB percentages. You know what precautions were taken to ensure purity and sterility. So you also have a quality assurance that you would not have buying UG gear. You can make stuff that is not commonly available. And it is just plain fun to do.
