Can you guys fill me in on the risks involved in using UGL's as opposed to pharmeceutical brands? What is the difference exactly? I have heard bad things about UGLs but, thats all I have access to.

well pharm grade is very controlled in the makeing.
ugl is (for lack of better words) home brew.
there are many ugl's that are very well knowen and respected.
they put out quality gear that will work well. some......not so good.
make sure you have a trusted sourse and do your research on the lab you want to use.

There are some really good UGL's and some not so good UGL's. I know of a few that have had pretty much no complaints over a few years and then there are some that have drama all the time. I do know some are run by real chemist and not joe blow in his kitchen.

My source (UGL) is very well known. The gear is da shit! The quality, T/A, and communication can't be beat. I would never buy elsewhere. I'd much rather buy from them then go to Mexico and get underdosed or fake shit, not to mention the risk of getting busted bringing it back. International sources are in the same boat. It takes forever and you run the risk of getting the package seized by customs.

i do the same thing. no mater what ug it is. i get new vials and .20 whatmen filters and make sure it's clean.

Where are you getting your filters....? and new sterile glass for that matter.
What do you do...just stick a pin in and draw out all the oil and push it through the filter into the new glass?

One of the biggest differences is that some of the UGL stuff can be made in a bathtub and pharm grade stuff is sterile and able ot be trusted...

shit in their bathtub, common on... Funny, but not true... I can see some
being much more professional about it then others and making sure things
are done right and are sterile as possible, but the Bath Tub line... LMAO!

I knew exactly what you meant, what I find funny is how some guys assume
all UGL's are goin to give them infections from not being sterile, when
I've personally ran 4-5 different UGL's in the last few years and all of
them have been fine...
The only human grade stuff I run sometimes now is either some Test Ent
usually the Iranian's or ICN's sometimes, but other then that it's all UGL's
and I'm very pleased with the quality of the stuff I use...

Yes, as a matter of fact I have had a couple bad experiences with a couple ugl products. I know a lot are probably great. But yuou know how that goes, ya have a bad expereince and you kinda label them...
Nonetheless, I was just stating my opinion and when I look back at it, I could have done so with better verbage.

Cons: Chance of it being underdosed, painful since concentration tends to be much higher then Pharm., unsanitary and a complete mystery liquid essentially.
Pros: Cheaper then Pharm, readily available, unique mixes.

Can someone explain the filtering process a little better? And why filter when you have what do you find?

on most open source boards they have a ratings section.. research that section and u will find out who has problems and who has product 90% of the time (ez as that)
