John Cena to start in the next Predator movie

Man did my jaw drop when rumors started to spread accross the internet about this.

At first it was a rumor of a remake of one of the best movies ever Predator 1987.

How can you remake a movie that i prefect, with Arnold, Carl Weathers, Jessy Ventura and Bill Duke, with all that firepower and testosteron male hormone, an amazing Predator creature with special effects that blow you away.

I would have been happier if they would have casted the rock instead of that wannabee raper moron, what he gonna do flap is hand infront of the predator like he does in wrestling.

how mmnayPredators have there been now, like 3 or 4 at least?? I know they had a few low budget shit ones come out that alot of people never even heard of. Predator 2 was shitty enough, they should have just left it at the original and been done w. it. It's def one of my all time favorite movies, way ahead of it's time, killer special effects and action.

How the hell are they gonna do a remake? You watch it now and it still stands up to the test of time in regards to great action sequences, special effects, etc..

Honestly, having Cena in the movie won't bother me too much if he's just one of the sidekick soldiers. Hell he may even be decent at it. If he's the leading man, that's another story entirely

No bro there where no low budjet in the Predator franchise, infact Predator 2 was very good movie, i know i know Dany Glover got the role cause of is huge Lethal Weapon movie push but still the guy look very impressive for a 50 year old he was in shape.

The movie did focus more on the creature this time around showing a lot more weapons and more.

The latest movie AVP was good, but what the **** happened with the creature mask, the teeth where plastic damn look damn awful when he took out is mask.

Also director Paul Anderson (Mortal Combat, Event Horizon, Resident Evil), was pissed off cause the week before the movie was schedual to be released he add to cut out a lot and change the damn rating to pg-13 and not R.

There are strong rumors that a dvd release will come in the futur that will be R rathing after all the AVP movie was just not the same without the gore.

I think that the Rock is a very good action hero and great in line to succeed Arnold, no one can replace Arnold, hey Arnold is Arnold.

I add high hopes when i saw John Cena in OVW before he came into the WWE, he looked like a young Sting with the blond hair and great shape i really tought that WWE would have done more then throw a simple dumb ass rap gimmick on the guy.

At least Batista still looks amazing and would wipe Cena ass.

I guess a gimmick can do a lot to a wrestler and i just dont see him in any Predator movie or army suit.

Rumors say that he is in fact in the lead role, but its not gonna be a remake but sort of a new predator movie, lets hope that the creature mask will be redesigned and Cena gets is spin pulled out with is rapper balls in that movie that will make me buy the ticket and the damn dvd.

I wont take away that Cena got one amazing shape, he is a great athlete, he has changed so much since is WWE debut with a lame wrestling style and that dumb rap gimmick.

I really liked Lesner has a wrestler he was great for is size, sad thing he left WWE for Football but just did not cut it, then went back to WWE try to work out a deal but that fell true has well.

Now i dont know where he is, he should come back to pro wrestling he would be great in the mix.

In OVW he looked like a young sting. I am not taking away is physics he looks incredible.

I guess that we will all have to see the movie to judge. Anyways i would have rather seen Batista, or The Rock casted then him.

Batista is in is late 30, i would really enjoy seeing this guy acting capablility, he is huge has one hell of a physic, and i really felt he was wasting is time in WWE 2 years ago when he was getting beat up by HBK and Chris Jericho, he has also proven he can actually put on a great match and be very entertaining for a big guy.

Another one that i have high hopes for is Randy Orton, great shape and amazing wrestler.

Has for Cena i am just not in that all Rap thing, gangster rap, yo yo yo thing.

I still enjoy is matches in OVW and hope that one day he will change gimmick.

THe late AVP movie was good and the uncut dvd just came out 8 more minutes i cannot comment cause i have not seen it but every alien and predator movie made was an R rating.

if you wanna get guys like cena in movies, i don't see why they don't just use gunter schlierkampf or ronnie or something. you should either go with a good actor, one who does cool stunts, or one that's physically-imposing as hell when you make an action movie.

I was very dissapointed in Predator 2. How do you go from guys like Arnold, Jessie and Carl Weathers to Danny Glover? The guy could barely run. I don't watch wrestling at all but anyone has to be better than Danny Glover. The AVP movie was good but I don't get how the last one standing is the glamorous, hot, black chick, survival specialist/mountain climber. The scene with her running alongside the 7' Predator like they're some kind of team is corny. I bought the damn DVD and now I'm gonna have to go buy the unrated version too.

Nah its actually true but they didnt develop the predator suit that was used in the movie when he was cast to play the role. The Predator actually was supposed to turn out to be a shitty movie, The predator originally looked like a f*ckin insect, basically an ant, this is where jean claude played that part. The suit was too hot and jean claude passed out a few times from running around in it, so they changed the suit to something else and cut van damme as the actor to portray the predator. The predator was originally supposed to do all these martial arts moves but they cut that figuring it would be too tacky. You can see in the beginning of Predator that Arnold comes in with his usual persona of the invincible "Commando" tough guy image. But somehow for some reason they actually made a good movie out of it.

Alien Versus Predator was the worst movie EVER. Everything sucked about that movie through and through.....a pyramid in Antarctica??? You can't be serious. It had potential to be a good movie but then they made the mistake of releasing it to the public. If John Cena is the main role of the next predator movie then that franchise is shot. I've heard him talk in interviews with nothing to do with the WWE and he does like the hip hop style but the WWE makes him to be some roided out eminem and doesnt really reflect his personality. but let him get some acting credentials before giving him a main role like that.
