Now that Hooker is banned what will happen to the Steroid Profile section? Hooker still owns the copyright on those profiles and that is one of the most important parts of this board (along with the Steroid Questions forum).

hooker does not (and never did) own the profiles. what gave you that impression? he didn't write all the profiles (though he did write the majority) so the whole forum wouldn't just dissapear. no worries, it is one of the greatest assests this board has, and it will remain.

ok understand that he's not banned, he can still post. There are two sides to every story, I suggest you all keep that in mind when you only get 1/2 of the real story from 1 man. Stay on the board to learn or whatever, it is still a great place. But try to stay out of the drama, it's just a circle that goes round and round.

i believe Brian. (the owner of the board) paid for those profiles, so he OWNS them. Their not going anywhere.

I'm sorry. I made an assumption based on the fact that the Steroid Profiles forum has a description that states: **COPYRIGHT PROTECTED** A list of Steroid Profiles to Help You Understand Each Drug and How They Are Used. Since hooker wrote or compiled most of the profiles I just thought he owned the copyright. I wasn't aware that he was paid for them, but now that you mention it I remember AR was paying for people to write some profiles a while ago.

I would really like to hear the other half of the story. Can one of the veterans post the true story of what happened and not lock the thread so it can be discussed? A lot of member's are really clueless as to what happened, including me. I'm sure that a lot of people would feel more at ease with all of these conspiracy theories put to rest.

I've been banned from posting here, because I confronted 956Vette, about this conversation he had with me the other day, and tried to stick up for the members who have earned vet/mod status, but will never get it because they are not his friend(s):
The following is a conversation I had with the person who makes people mods and vets here. Basically he admits that mods and vets are only have that status, since he has been in charge, because they are his friends, and have no other merit:

Well that's news to me. I didn't know he couldn't post. As for the entire story I don't know it. I just know more than the average member. For the whole story to be posted you'd have to hear it from the admin, owner or the mods. It's not my place to do so. In my opinion I think the members do deserve to know what happened, but like I said it's not my board and not my decision. I try my best to stay out of board politics and drama, I'm just here to learn and share my knowledge.

gsxxr - there's more to that than meets the eye. Hooker had vets made that were made b/c they were his friends. I recall a discussion about one who was just the month before or so asking what needle to inject with and was made a vet b/c he was a fav. of hooker. so it's on both sides, but you never hear both sides...just keep that in mind.
alright I'll step out of this one b/c I don't like to get involved in drama, but I also don't like to see 1/2 truths perpetuated as fact b/c of ego.

Hooker can post, HOWEVER, it has to go under review by system admin or myself. His posting has to be compliant with the rules. YES, hooker is a great asset and the rules have been bent around HIMGoes to show you cant help everyone and certainly cant make everyone happy.
Hooker can continue to bash staff, vets, you members when you become staff, and further fuk his rep and book sales somewhere else. AR sponsors and especially writers should have higher expections!

Surely the owners/bosses of this board can make someone a MOD or VET for whatever reason they see fit, if it were my board I would make MODs and VETs of whoever I wanted.

Exactly! There is one golden rule which has served me well on this board and in life. Never take one persons word as truth! Think of this: for every opinion you get, every news cast you see, every piece of advice given on this board, there is conflicting information. The best thing to do is get many opinions, watch many newscasts and read many news articles, and get many different pieces of advice. From there you formulate what you think is right and you try it out. Then you modify your approach to suit your needs.
The parallel to this board is obvious. Never take one mans advice as fact. Weather that person is a mod, vet, writer, senior or newbie member. Everything you read you should get many opinions. This will help you make the best decision for you. Many people take mod, vet, writers... opinion as hard fact. It is far from this. Their (our) opinions are based on research but above all else experience. Still multiple perspectives should always be sought out, no matter how much you respect a certain member no matter who they are.

I totally agree. I genuinely like Hooker, he has always seemed a straight-up dude. However, it has been confirmed that other people have been telling half-truths (i.e. banned vs. post moderation.) When someone tells a half-truth it is as good as a lie and you don't know if ANYTHING that is said is true. I would really like to see everything come out in the open and let the System Admin settle this once and for all.
I agree. Which is why I feel that if Hooker's posts were moderated it leads the discussion to be kinda one sided. If Vette and whoever else have nothing to hide than by all means let him post unmoderated and let's settle this so AR can go back to being the best board on the net! Right now we are like GetBig....
