I'm wondering about T3 known as Triyodtironin. This is a different chemical though than cytomel.
Anyone know anything about it, if it's good and standard usage for it?

Cytomel is a brand name, and it sounds Triyodtironin is too. T3 is the actual hormone name, so they are the same.Originally Posted by dragon69
T3 is thyroid hormone. You really should study up on this before you think about using any hormone, especially thyroid hormone. What are you trying to accomplish????? stats??? general state of health?? age??? These are all important considerations.
yes I know T3 is thyroid hormone, I'm asking the difference between Liothyrine Sodium (cytomel) and Triyodtironin
Ok, I even went the extra mile and looked it up for you. They are both drug name Liothyronine which is T3. So they are the same damn thing like I said. Different brands and perhaps different doses, but the same stuff.Originally Posted by dragon69
thanks......would you mind sending me the source of the information? I need to compare what you found with what I found, since they're a little different.
bump for mike
I just found it on the web. Type in those brand names on google, that's all I did.
BTW if you are sweating over the difference between Liothyrine Sodium and Liothyronine then dont, because its the same thing.
I was trying to tell you they are the same drug.
