I have made fina many times before. It has never turned out brown. I think I heated it to much. Is it OK to use? Thanks guys.

Not sure without seeing it. I have made it with older pellets before and it came out a little bit darker than normal, but once I filtered it was still a nice golden color in the bottle. I have noticed it gets a little darker the more that you heat it, but once again, once you filter it, it should still be a clear golden color. Do you have a pic. of it? Is it clear or murky?

Sorry bro, I am on an ancient computer (no picture). It is murky. It looks like dark tea or something. I think it has a strange odor this time also. I hope I didnt scorch it.

Doesn't sound good to me. I wouldn't use it, but that is up to you. How did you heat it and for how long?
