help viewing profiles please

Hey guys,
I have been a member of the board for a long long time, I just don't post. I tried to view a member's profile today and it won't let me. It said my account could have been disabled. Can someone help me? Thanks.

Did you click the username and then in the drop down menu click on View Public Profile?

Thanks for the replay. Yes, I used the drag down menu and clicked view public profile. This is what I get:

SmallAsWhoa, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

I have been using this feature for over 2 years now and I frequent the boards, so I know I am doing it right. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm... I will have to refer this to system admin. But if you keep joining conversations and get your post count up to 25 you will change to a new usergroup and that should unlock the profiles, as well as the ability to PM members. But, I don't think he intentionally stopped new members from viewing profiles...

i can't view them either, so i guess it is because of the post count./?

Must be a usergroup permission - once your post count gets to 25 you will join the new group and you should be good to go...

I just got some confirmation that in fact, you CAN NOT view someone's profile (as well as send Private Messages) until you have contributed at least 25 posts.

Thanks. That's what I wanted to know, too. The funny part is, I can't even view my own profile! It's all good now that I know what's going on, though.
