i just stick to normal training split but go heavier as the drugs allow more weight to be lifted
the body is recuperating faster
it's an individual thing, everyone is different. I find that working out 4 days a week and going heavy 3 out of 4 workouts is best for me while on cycle. Off cycle, I have to drop to 3 workouts per week with at least 1 day off in between.
Also wondering if there is a clear answer for this.
I was thinking about doing 3 on 1 off.
That is what I do, but my "normal training" varies from a basic pyramid Chest-back-shoulder and legs-arms two day split, to 5x5, to HST.Originally Posted by muscle_20

Do what is effective for you, but whatever you do, work hard.

i to go heavier on cycle, and tend to use lighter weight off. 3x a week is plenty for me, i see results, and i dont even think about over training.
what ever works for you![]()
I do 2 days on, 1 day off...thus 5 days a week with 2 rest days.
You need to play around and test what works best for you - it takes time but in the end it is well worth it!
i heard never go heavy on shoulder because they are soo small the 3 individual heads is this true could i see more gains by going lighter? I always thought since cycling gets u stronger use that strength to use more weight and grow but then with shoulder i wonder if thats still not good to do?

I gained a lot of strength on my last cycle and started doing really heavy shoulder workouts. It paid off, b/c I gained and kept a lot of mass in them, but I tore the crap outta my left rotator early on. Took about two weeks to heal, then it was back to heavy workouts (with LOTS of stretching before)
I do only lift heavy and i workout every other day.
And on offdays i do some long boring powerwalks just to keep a good and leaner physique.
this is a very personal type subject and i dont think there is any clear cut answer. one thing is for sure though, your dedication, enthusiasm, and intensity for training should be at an all time high.
i would never do this but what happens when you do more than 13 weeks of cycling? besides destroy ur heart and kidneys? can you still add muscle and strength or is it impossible to after 13 weeks becuz of estrogen production
I don't train
kidding.
same times, only more KG
Destroy your heart??Originally Posted by irondiezl3

Dude, do some more research...Originally Posted by irondiezl3

I like a four day split while on. Workout no more than everyother day. 13 weeks isn't a big deal bro, depends on your goals. Sounds like you need to do a little more research. Orals 17alpha alkalated should not be run that long. Anthony Roberts is a smart man, some of his profiles are on this site. Studies have shown that Testosterone can be safely used for up to 20 wks.
I found that lifting e2d works best for me....for right now, anyways.. that may change when things start taking effect....then I will be lifting 5-6 days a week.. like I did on the last cycle...
i train hard 6 days a week and get awesome results but thats what works for me everyone is different, if your seeing results dont stop what your doing and if your always tired and loosing appitite well take one day more off!
if you already have a set program that you have mapped out one, two, or more months in advance, then you should not really go away from that. stay the course with your program on and off cycle.
I do the same weights that I do off cycle except I do more reps so instead of the normal 10 I do 15, but I mainly do this while on a cutter.
i do 3 on 1 off(cardio day) working each body part twice.....heavy and light days........quads 1x per wk..........heavy!!!!!!!!
The best advice i read in this thread is: Listen to your body.
I always try to plan my workouts but i listen to my body. Sometimes is am strong and fit and skip a off day and train an extra day. Some weeks i feel weak and take an extra offday. Listen to your body and go heavy and grow!!
