Well, since I've gotten back into working out, my shoulder joints have been bothering me after my chest workouts. I've always had issues with my rotator cuffs, but I'm putting on size fast right now (10lbs in under 3 weeks, yes I'm serious), and I think my connective tissues in the rotator cuffs are just having a hard time keeping up. I went to the local vitamin store, and the guy there suggested glucosamine to help those connective tissues keep up with the muscle development.
Did research on glucosamine and it only seems to help the connective cartilage, but doesn't seem to affect ligaments or tendons, which i know develop slower than muscle tissue. So my question is should I take the glucosamine and should it help my rotator cuffs in repairing the damage I'm doing to them? I don't mind the pain and don't care about getting rid of the pain, I just want to make sure my shoulder joints are repairing themselves properly and that they can keep up with the fast muscle growth I have going on?
