    Gainer diet...critique please!

I've adjusted my diet to get more calories in my body and overall eat cleaner. I've been using a website called nutrtiondata.com to input and track my daily meals. These are shots of todays meals so far. I still have dinner to go and 1 or 2 protein shakes. I can repost if necessary to show those meals but you get the idea...My total fat cals are a lot higher and once I get those last 2 meals in it should put my daily percentages to around 40/40/20. Would that be acceptable?

Sorry Guys...the pics aren't working too well right now...will post up in a few minutes!!!!

Well your bulk diet should be around

    50% Protein
    30% carbs
    20% Fats

A couple up or down on any of em on a daily basis wont kill yah .. but you should stay on this ratio as a guide ..

Your fats are way to high ... and your carbs are too low... Your breakdown is hard to read because we are unable to see meals and the times your eating..

If you want assistance pal, please take the time to give us your STATS...

and your planned meal regimen, meals 1-6 and what they consist of... when your workout is and so forth ... kk !

To be perfectly honest I haven't really gotten to the point to where I'm eating exactly at the same time every day. I've been off work for the past month (just got back from Iraq), and I will be back on a "normal schedule next week...will post up more rigid meal regiment then...hope I didn't waste your time.

    50% Protein
    30% carbs
    20% fats
    ?

I'd have to disagree, each individual is different..
    Mine is more like
    350g Protein (30%) 1400calories
    600g Carbs (51%) 2400calories
    100g Fat (19%) 900calories
    Total calories *4700*

What do you feel the breakdown percentages should be for a Bulk diet ??

true.. I said it was a guideline ... but your fats are still low ...
Seems the most info is challenging the info givers and not assisting the one who asked the question..

Haven't eaten it yet...but most likely a protein shake similar to one above.

Just going by what the "bulking" sticky is saying, to maintain what I'm at right now I need 3,467 cals a day.

That reflects nothing that the bulking sticky outlines.

Is the issue as far as what I'm eating and when? Like pro/carb vs. pro/fat and the times that I chow on those?

If so, I should be able to tweak everything around to meet that goal. the only thing that will really change when I go back to work will be the amount of meals between waking and workout...should be around 4. Also, I will be doing cardio in the mornings 5 days a week...blah! Anyways, again, i'm trying to learn and all input is appreciated...even if it is telling me that I pretty much look like an idiot for posting up my diet.

Nah, no one is callin' u an idiot brutha.

You have things like a shake (protein) by itself, oats (carbs) mixed with 4 whole eggs (high fat content), and yogurt with turkey on WHITE bread, etc.

Gotta run, plane leaves pretty damn soon.

I'm trackin bro...I'll adjust it and see if I can't get it a little more on line.

If anyone else could take a look and see what you think I would appreciate it. Even if it's switching something out or adding in. Right now with that amount of food I'm taking in around 4,600 cals a day! Seems way high. I realize I need to cut the fats back and bump the protein up, so I'll be takin' a hard look at that over the next 2 days. These online nutrition guides are nice for finding this stuff out!!
