Propecia will take some time to work; there is no quick fix for Male Pattern Baldness. I wouldn't expect anything before 6 months, maybe as long as 12. Propecia is a good preventative measure until more effective compounds are released. Also, Nizoral is a great idea as well. Nizoral is of proven benefit for MPB.

Proscar will only help you retain whatever you've got right now. Don't expect to grow anything back. I've been using the stuff for 5 years...

yea it can grow it back after while but its like catch 22 if you stop using it then it will just fall out again so if you want your hair you need to use it for life...
