What exactly is the point of this supplement? - It sounds like a hyped up load of BS, "concentrated protein" - WTF is that supposed to mean?

Ok thats fair - you asked a honest question on peoples opinions and I was being a wise ass.

Its just that there are so many things on the market that sound shady. It is just difficult to believe that there is a suppliment that can provide that kind dosage at a high quality protien for bodybuilding.

Here is the pitch from another site for the product:
The Ultimate in Convenience – No Refrigeration Necessary!

    # Packaged in easily portable 2.9 fluid oz, virtually unbreakable plastic vials
    # Heat stable – refrigeration is optional. You can take NEW WHEY Liquid Protein everywhere anytime! No messy mixing of powders, & no messy clean up.

Introducing the most convenient delivery of protein ever conceived! NEW WHEY delivers 25 grams of pure protein with no carbs or fat in a 2.9 ounce serving!

Actinase, the source of protein in NEW WHEY Liquid Protein, is made up of a special grade of protein called hydrolyzed proteins. Hydrolyzed proteins are used in a very small percentage of products because of its high cost to manufacture. It is most often found in infant formula because it is very gentle on the stomach & it is easy to digest and assimilate. Hydrolyzed proteins are derived from complete proteins oftentimes through an enzymatic process of breaking down the protein into smaller constituents called peptides. Generally, the smaller the peptide, the easier and faster the protein is to digest and absorb. NEW WHEY Liquid Protein has also been fortified with a full spectrum of water-soluble vitamins to give your body the nutrients and extra energy it needs for today’s hectic lifestyle.

NEW WHEY is the ideal protein supplement for people on the go!

Directions: Take one vial with each meal or snack, up to 3 vials per day.

the taste is ok. i tried the blue raspberry. its really convienent, and even if you dont like the taste the whole thing is like 2 gulps and it is down. its easy to grab and go and is a good change of pace from a bar or whatever. they are kinda expensive, and not that much protein, but check one out for a change.

    ns4433,
you need to relax on this board dude. Vials of pre-mixed whey means one more processing step a supplement company can charge lazy people for. If you have more money than brains, go for it.
