are clomid and nolva detectable during drug tests? and if yes what are the detection time of them? I have read that they were not detectable but I recently had someone tell me that they are. so any help from someone who knows would be wonderful.

Yes they do and will test for it, depending on your sport/level of course.Australian rider Rory Sutherland has been banned for 15 months after testing positive for clomiphene during the Deutschland Tour (Tour of Germany) this year. The sanction was announced on Thursday by the disciplinary commission of the Belgian cycling federation, which had jurisdiction in the matter as Sutherland possesses a Belgian licence. The ban, which also carries an additional 9 month provisional suspension, will run until December 15, 2006
I tried to start a thread a couple of weeks back on the topic but got nowhere...http://forums.steroid.com/showthread.php?t=238474... surely someone can find out for us?!?! PLEASE!!!
form half lives I think your safe after +- 5 weeks. I'm not sure about metabolites...
THe guy above who was banned was caught on a MINUTE quantity of clomid...which is bad news. I think their detection tests are very sensitive now.
I'd prob chance 2 months personally but not really less than that.
thanks for the help. 2 months is a long time. i guess better safe than sorry
how about Nolva? is it tested for or is it testable?
????? anybody?
bump
I'd guess that nolva would stay detectable for a longer time than clomid, since it has a much longer half life (14 days vs 5). Clomid is more effective in stimulating recovery of the hypothalamus than nolva, so is a must for pct in my opinion. If I was a tested athlete, I'd do my last pct with clomid rather than nolva. In an ideal world of course, you should use both for pct and take HCG in small doses throughout your cycle...
