Unless you feel like burning your protein shake for fun, it's not a good idea. If you do low intensity cardio on an empty stomach, LBM loss will be kept to a minimum (if any).

Have some water and drop in 5g of Glutamine. That should work.

anything you eat will be used as fuel. you're better off lowering your heart rate just a tad if you are worried about LBM loss. go at 60% if you are concerned. eat those aminos afterwards. thn about 20 minutes later have your first meal.
