    Donating Blood Question

    I am going to donate blood in a week to lower my RBC. I have never done this before - do they check your blood before you donate?

    Sorry - posted too quick.

    Do they run a test on your RBC's? Do they do a quick test before they take your blood to screen for issues?

    first pff they do have screening questions and one of them is regarding the use of needles.

    You should not be donating blood if you are anywhere near a cycle, and as mentioned if you are honest onthe questionaire they won't take it anyhow.
