Unless of course you're an illegal immigrant, then you get off !!!!!!
Driving drunk these days is so f*cking risky it's not even funny.
Not to mention you could die in a horrific crash/flames/burn to death.

i got one when i was 16 in texas..like 3 years ago so it was right before they started goin crazy w/all the bullshit...i jumped my bronco into a pond dukes of hazard style and these two chicks got ****ed real bad..one chick had to have 35 stitches across her head the other chick had to have immediate reconstruction done on her face...ambulance came they called cops when i was at the hospital told em what happened...ended up payin some money had to drive a restricted license.which was to and from school only..for 6 months...only jail i went to was a holding cell waiting for the rents..oh yea and insurance went through the roof...
It's so easy now to either get a cab, or a dd... it's not worth the risks at all to drive drunk.
one of my close friends got one a few months ago....he's license is gone for a year...and he said his insurance is high too...
dang that sucks
yea you get ****ed over with that shit
i got one when i was 19. had a bac of like. 03. horsepoop.
A friend of mine got one a couple of weeks ago. He spent that night in jail, and no more time after that. He did have to pay like a 1500 dollar fine, and he has to attend some drug and alcohol classes, and isn't supposed to be within 500 yards of anyone consuminig alcohol.
But it's definiitely not worth it, you could get killed or kill someone else.
uhhh thats the dumbest thing ive ever heard.Originally Posted by bigpapabuff
My buddy got one acouple months ago. He spent a total off about 1500 in court fees and fines. Then another 1200 is using a good lawyer to get the charge lowered and off his record. Getting a DUI is no joke!!
I got one when I was 17...on Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas, jackass!!!
I blew a 0.18 that was still rising and the officer turned it off so my mother wouldn't see how drunk I was.
Also got:
Speeding ticket (10 over in 45mph zone)
Seatbelt ticket
Provisional License ticket (being under the 9 o'clock rule)
Luckily, if you're under 18, the courts apparently give you some lee-way.
Plus, I got a HELLA good lawyer.
All charges magically disappear.
they dont even care about that rule up where i live, i think the rules were from 12-5 you couldnt drive, all the time i had been pulled over were inbetween 12-5 haha, never cared about it once. dumb copsOriginally Posted by PhishStasH

lost 3 buds to drunk driving.. 1 had just got married with a newborn, smashed inside a transformer. truck caught fire.. dash and steering wheel trapped him as he burned to death, recognized him by dental and his license plate. 2nd n 3rd buddy driving street bikes, 1 crashed into a back of a truck as it was pulling out, the other flew underneath his truck as he hit it, and got twined up under the axel and the rest of him pummelled into garage...all in same month....
so....think b4 you drink.....
Talkk about shitty. My brother got 3 dui in Cali. One the third one he had to do six months straight in the country jail. Attend classes for about 2 years of alcohol related. Got a felony for it and got his license just back after 4 years. He stopped drinking completely now and it a much, much better person. Fines, welll I don't know but when he got his license back he had to blow on one of those things that was attached to his car for 6 months.
