yea i say black, not african american. this isnt my question but let me clarify why. in the all too PC world we live in, african american isnt all encompassing and neglects a few things. What if you were white but had descendants from africa? Are you an african american? What if you are of dominican or Hatian Descent? You certainly arent african american. And technically if you believe that mankind arose and evolved in africa...arent we all technically african americans? well i digress. here is my question:

Do you(black people) find it offensive the way certain companies market products to you? Ill use McDonalds as an example, because its what made me want to ask this question. There is a commercial with 2 black females talking about the new MCD's premium chicken salad. Now they sound incredibly ignorant, use slang, and basically have that "girlfriend" type attitude you see from a talk show audiences. Why do they do that? Do they feel there arent any educated black people in america? Do you think ignorance begates more ignorance? By that i mean do blacks see that and say "yea thats us" and feel thats the way they are supposed to be? thoughts on this?
