HCG and SERM

I was talkin to my doctor...he said that a SERM such as Clomid causes the same LH surge that would be induced by the administration of HcG. So in effect, by taking a SERM you are getting the natural restoration of the HPTA, versus just the stimulation of testes you would get thru the use of the HcG??

Kind of.

Using a SERM, such as Clomid or Nolva will raise levels of LH and FSH eventually.

HCG will mimic LH, fooling your testes into producing testosterone.

So, ultimately, you're getting the same result...the hcg just is a sudden surge that makes the boys start workin again quickly, whereas the serm will do it, but at a longer duration...?

well that is because hcg is suppressive to hpta...you run it before your actual pct but its wise to run nolva along side it as it spikes testosterone AND estrogen levels...then bring your pct into full swing after hcg administration
