I ordered gear from the UK and it was (said) to be shipped June 30th. I live in the US so july 4th stops everything. if i still didnt revieve my gear today, is this a bad sign?

depends on how it was shipped. If it was regular mail i wouldnt worry yet,

I would think that you would have got it by now. It may in customs hands now. All you can do is wait it out. Either you will get the package or the letter.
