PCT training to keep maximum gains?

    Hello all,

During PCT, how should training go?

I am aware that diet and upping the calories is very important and that is something i am going to do, but what about training during PCT? More intense than on cycle? less intense? Same intensity?

I don't want to get on PCT and make the wrong move in regards to training and regret it later, so any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

I would say keep the intensity up, but lower the volume. Get in, get out, and focus on the most important lifts.

yep. i will pretty much do the same thing as on, but attempt new maxes less often cause nervous system recovery time is longer off cycle. basically as fLgAtOr said: lower volume a little.

I train a different way. kind of shock my body. Lower my weight, increase my reps/with slow, super-good form. Then when I go back on, I go back heavy again. works well for me.

heres my pholosophy on this subject:

During PCT your test levels are going to get real low and you can have the risk of going catabolic. So in order to avoid this you need to do a good PCT and take in at least 500 more cals then when you were on. Also you have to remember your body wont be metabolizing proteins as well when your off compared to when your on, there for if you train to hard you run the risk of over training.

In a nut shell- TRAIN ALITTLE LESS AND EAT MORE!!

I do the same thing. I really like super slow reps, it helps me to focus harder, and because of that I usually get a better workout. Helps me keep the gains better.
