    Anavar and natural test production

I am going to embark on a cycle of 30 mgs of Anavar/day for 8 weeks. I am 30 years old, 6'2", 242lbs, 15% BF, I compete in BJJ/ Sport grappling. I have never used AS before. This cycle is strictly for strength and recovery due to the fact a couple of huge competitions are coming up in Oct/Nov and my body is having a hard time keeping up with the training. I have read a hundred conflicting reports about anavar's effect on the body's natural production of testosterone.
Anyone out there offer some personal experience with Anavar and what if any effect it had on your test.
    All comments welcome.
Thanks for any and all input.

I am no expert on Anavar, as I have never used it, but from what I hear it doesn't dramatically shut down your body's natural production of testosterone. I'm sure that the more you take and for longer the more it will shut down your test production. You can read about anavar in the steroid profiles section on this site and I'm sure you'll get a better idea of what it's capabilities are.

I'm on Var right now but that's a whole nother story. Effect on your natty test production is really dependant on your dosage and how long you run it. You can run it at a moderate to low dose and only suppress your nat. test by about 25% or so for a couple of months.

Now if you use a high dosage your nat test will be more heavily suppressed quickly. According to my research on Anavar (tons of research), most people will feel libido suppression at about the 5 week mark on doses from 40 to
80mg. At 30mg/day, I doubt you will have problems with Var. It's a very safe compound. I just hope your cholesterol profile looks good.

    Hope this helps.

Me mind? Hell no. Yep, Var is hard on cholesterol. Thats about the only thing you will have to worry bout. PCT? Rebounding from var is no problem. I'd recommend 50mg clomid for 3 weeks the day after your last Var pill. Any more questions feel free. Hopefully I can have some nice feedback about my cycle. If you read my post you would know it's pretty experimental to say the least.
