When you have been in a relationship as long as him or me (just broke up after 2yrs) going out and banging another chick is not the first thing on your mind.

Glad to hear that. I've been so depressed in the past that it didn't seem all that stupid and for many people it actually seems like a viable answer to all their problems.

Depending on the type of person you are going out and banging other girls right away isn't always the answer. I did that after me and my ex broke up and it just made me feel worse. I found going out and partying with my buddies and just forgeting about chicks helped me more than anything.

Surprisingly, later on with that attitude, when I was ready, I was getting laid every weekend by a different chick it seemed. Things get way better bro I promise.

I dated a girl for 7 years and she cheated on me with a hippy during a family crises. Here are some helpful hints for the break up
1)stop comparing all girls to her
2)No contact at all for a few months at least
3)Dont make her shit a priority since she made you a option
4)Dont take her back ex's are ex's for a reason.

Life goes on it sucks but its not the end of the world, good luck

I agree. Especially #1, when me and my girl broke up, all i could ever do was compare her to other girls i got with...definitely did not help the situation. Also, no contact is really hard to pull off, but if you can it works the best. It's helped me out in some pretty tough times, cuz hearing her voice or seeing her puts you back at square one.
