    neat concept for sure. not very practical on a daily driver tho. my favorite wheel design (on a motorcycle) is billy lane's see through hub rear wheel assembly. awesome design/engineering feat

    the clear rims are old news and i am sure they will bent like a mofo

    its a unique design, but not all that tasty imo. maybe for a show car only.

    the clear ones look kinda stupid, and im sure they would look worse and worse as they got dirtier. also if you got someone pissed off they could go smash your tires, they could disable your entire vehicle by throwing a rock at it.

    I'd love to see some of those clear rims on a sport bike.

    It would be freaky looking, kinda like it's just floating.

    I think it would look great on a Buel, with the inverted brake rotors.

    They are not made of glass. It's made of the same composite as the Space shuttle windows. I'm sure it won't break with just a rock.
