    Mavsluva: 182lbs Pics

    Hey folks,

Well, I've just discovered that it's darn near impossible to take a good quality photo of yourself, by yourself, but here they are anyway. The link below is my last batch of photos and I was just south of 170lbs in those pics (taken 9/28/06). My goal was to reach 180lbs by the end of November, and I'm already there. I'll begin to cut in December so I can look good for my trip to Hawaii on January 11th.

For those of you that do not know of me or do not know of my progress, I was weighing in at 135lbs back in August of 2002. My current stats are:

    Height: 5'8
    Weight: 182lbs
    Waist: 32"
    Arms (bi's): 16.5"
    Chest: 39.5"
    Thighs: 25"
BF: Not real sure, but it's probably between 10-12%

    Grace and Peace,

I've been training dilligently for about 3 years now. I've always been good with my diet and my training regimen is consistently a 5-6 day a week program. I really think that I used to be too strict with my diet as I wasn't seeing the results that I had wanted to. So I've made an effort to lighten up on my diet over the past 4 months and it has worked quite well. I cheat one evening a week (typically Sunday nights) and I'm pretty clean during the rest. When I'm on a strict diet, it's pro/carb and pro/fat only. No carb/fat meals. I've been eating pro/carb/fat meals on a regular basis during my lean bulk and I haven't put on too much extra fat. So I must be doing something right!

    Thanks for your compliment, Justin.

I weighed in at 135lbs in August of 2002, and that was the least that I've ever weighed. I would say that I was weighing about 145lbs three years ago when I began my strict regimen. I've gained a little over 20lbs in the last 4 months, though! You can do it man. It just takes some trial and error practice. Listen and monitor your body and stick with what works. I've read quite a bit on this board over the last year or so (mainly about dieting), but I can honestly say that I haven't taken any one specific approach. It's all about trying to find YOUR way to unlock YOUR potential.

    Looking great!

Try taking photos with the light in front of you, not behind you. As it is, your front is in shadow and it obscures the definition between muscles.
