    High MG and short or Low MG and long?

    I see alot of people cycle what to me are like 3 times what i would do a week. I am no pro but always wondered if its better to take a short cycle that consists of high MG and run it for 3 months or a low MG cycle and run it for like 6 months.
    On my recent visit to my DR who specializes in sports medicine we starting talking about the safest and best way of taking AS.
    He told me the trick is to take low dosages and do them for a long time.
    That way you more quality muscle while on..

    What do u guys think works better? And for those who tried both, which worked better for u??

    i go for option nr. 3 : high and long

    high mg with short time & low mg with long time each has its adv & disadv
    but the important point here is the diffenetion of long & short time

    He said 3 months short and 6 months long....

    Could someone list the advantages/disadvantages of this as I myself am curious.

    I personally dont grow anymore once Ive run something for 3 months, I cant see running it any longer. All you end up doing is increasing your dosage, trying to increase growth but it continues to slow down reguardless. I am beginning to believe more in short cycles with higer doses. Just started a 5 week burst cycle now.

    In my opinion i would say longer is better because if u take a huge dosage for a short period of time u have gotten really big because of the amount u are taking. I also think u will go down really fast as soon as u are done.
    Now if u run it for a looooong time at low dosages u have actually worked out really hard for that period of time and more is actually yours and not the chemicals.
    I also think after a certain amount of time u would have to bump it up a bit to keep on growing since your body has gotten used to it.

    I dont understand how u could benefit from taking large amounts of say test in a short period of time since some of the test takes 1 month to hit.

    Ok, so how about 3 months then bump it up a bit for another 3?

    I personally know that the best cycle i ever ran was Fina, Win for 6 months and started really low and bumped it up a tiny bit every 2-3 months for 5 months.
    I always believed that the higher dosages i took, i would be getting more muscle from the actual chemicals and less from myself.
    So If i did a short strong cycle when i finally stopped i would lose it all very quickly since none of it is really mine, i aquired it fast due to the amounts of as i took.

    Just my opinions, thanx...

    Yes, I think some of what you said might be true, especially when you havent been training for a very long time and arent near your genetic potential. In this case all you need is a little bump and youll grow faster. In my case, I have been training for over 20 yrs and cycling AAS for about 8 years or so. Now when I run a cycle I have to use much higher dosages and my growth seems to stop at around 12 weeks. In the past I used to run much longer cycles like you said, and got decent results. Only bad thing about really long cycles is that it shuts your natural test production down hard and it takes a long PCT to recover. In my experience the shorter cycles are easier to recover from and I retain more of my gains.
    Now I need to hit it with high doses for no more than 12 weeks and then get off for about 6 weeks.
