I forgot to swab the top of a bottle tonight. I preloaded it for tomorrow. Could this contaminate the entire bottle and what are your suggestions. Thanks for the quick replys!

I would say chances are no, and also the solution in your bottle will contain Benzyl Alcohol which will kill microbs. If you wanted to be totally safe you could wait a week or so before using that bottle again, if you have another bottle handy. That time will allow the BA to kill whatever might have gotten in.

There is very little chance that there will be a problem. I have done this many times with no issues, BUT you still need to be carefull

I usually wipe only when there is oil after i pull out the needle and i've done it hundreds of times so I would'nt worry about it!

i have never swabbed the top and never had a prob you know why?
because IF YOU SWAP PINS after PULLING the OIL OUT then there is no contamination going to take place because the BA w/in the oil should be than enought to handle the TINY amount of lil microbes u put in there via pushing the pin through the stopper.
