    seized package

*hypothetical*--say my friend sent out juice from a po box..however the senders name was not his own, but some bs one...now a letter claiming that we must sign for a package in the po box comes, and the juice had not arrived in its location 2 weeks later? what should my friend do? sign the letter, ignore it, or go to the post office and claim he did not send the juice out?

If it is not his name he can't sign for it. And it should have been sent priority mail.

Hopefully they will send it back unclaimed. You should contact your supplier incase it is. Maybe they can re send it?

Don't sign for it that would not be good cause u would be lookin at 2 problems forging a signature and illegal drugs.

Chalk it up as a loss that's your best bet.

Don't sign. They shouldn't need your signature for anything.

I'd just ignore it, chalk it up as a loss, and be careful in the meantime incase you have been flagged.

I don't understand. Your sent the package and it never went out and you got a letter to sign? Confusing...

It could be something totally unrelated. If you sent domestic and it's a post office, I wouldn't worry. Unless States is totally different than Canada in that respect.

Isn't that normal for certified mail? In Australia if you send certified mail your asking for the recievers signature for proof that the right person received it. They only ask for ID if the sender is requesting. As long as you have a card or letter you can sign anything or send anyone to sign for it. It's just like a courier asking for a signature. How does it work over there? I do understand your apprehension about signing for your pack

Yes but they usually try 3 or so times first not just send letter.
My bud did the same thing, nothing will probably happen it's not like it's a hugh durg shipment and the FBI has been keepin tabs on you.

If that is the case then F it and on the cops for takin peoples gear i'm mean shit studies show that upwards of 57% of police use or haved used while in uniform.
