    I'm 59 yrs old and 60 in a couple of months

    Listen this is a nice site....I'm having a lot of fun here and hope to contribute where I can

    I don't have any medical or bio chemistry degrees of any type...What i do have is 30 yrs of gear use and yes i'm still doing cycles...Being retired I do spend as much time as 4-6 hrs a day reading up on the use of Anabolic steroids....My first cycle was in 1997 about 30yrs ago....I'm 6' tall and 255 lbs right now with 19" arms cold...My bench (incline ) is a max of 385 lbs for 2reps..

    I started off in 1977 and for the next 11 yrs did gear under supervised care of Dr. Robert Kerr of S. California... Our fiorst cycles were Test only for 10 weeks..Then he took us off for 6 weeks and puts us on Test, D-bol and anadrol...At one time during the first 8 yrs my weight went up to 316 lbs...I had a 60" chest 22 7/8" arms and could bench well over 600 lbs....unheard of in those days. I wrestled all through high school and even won a scholarship to ohio St where i wrestled for the next 4 yrs earning my BA in law.

    Now sorry for the long post but I'm still doing gear and have used just about everything you can think of...I'll try to help where I can but sometimes go off a little on those youngsters that think they know everything...I'd rather talk to someone with a lot of experence then someone with no anabolic use and a medical degree in it...JMO

    I also agree, I would like to hear both sides of the spectrum. The medical veiw along with the first hand experience side when discussing aas.

    Now there really isn't a steroid ? in this post, so lets add one .

    Considering you've been using for so long, how do you feel about 30+ week cycles, and recovery?

    Was the recovery manageable, keep alot of strength/muscle or not?

    What do you find is the best length of pct and compounds for a cycle like this?

    Wow hard to answer my friend..Never done a cycle longer then 12 weeks...Most of my cycles are 6 and 8 weekers...I never use PCT..We didn't have the meds you have now..I just taper my doses down...
    lets say I'm coming off 1 gram of test and 750 mgs of deca after 8 weeks.

    week 9 750 mgs of test
    week 10 350mgs of test
    week 11 200 mgs of test
    week 12 100 mgs of test

    Wait for you Info I no longer go below 400 mgs of test yr round...started this 2 yrs ago, 400 mgs e/w

    I feel great when coming off. My blood work I have done 2 times a yr with no problems. I do admit that my sex life slows even on 400 mgs a week to about sex 3 times a week...when cycling higher everyday if not 2 times a day.

    Strength and size...If i don't go into a cut, I up my cal's by 500 day and do even more cardio..This seems to keep the strength up somewhat and size close. If i just stay on the samer amount of cals that I was using whilke doing a lg cycle, I tend to lose a lot of strength and some size.

    one note: I will only post in this forum...There's just to many training ideas and nutrition ideas out there for me to give feedback on...I have my own way of nutrition and training...My training does consist of two variations...4 week of M/W/F and 4 weeks of 6 days a week.


    As for my balls they stay like marbles yr round...doesn't effect my sex life, so besides a woman making a statement where's your balls, I say where's your tits...I don't screw with my balls and you don't screw with your tits.....Guess if I cheat I need to find small breasted women...LOL

    i think it depends. someone close to me that i know was on for 18months..changing compounds taking a few weeks off but with a bridge. hes 49 now this was a few years ago and his test levels normal are over 300 so id say he recovered fairly well.

    Whats the longest length and highest dosage you've ran Dbol & Drol at.
    I'm guessing you use these 2 alot.

    Ok in the past with using both at the samre time...30 mgs of do-bol and 50 anadrol....

    Now with saying that the most highest dose of d-bol i have ever used is 40mgs...I just came off a cycle 2 weeks ago..

    1-8 test 1 gram
    1-8 deca 750 mgs
    1-6 D-bol 40 mgs
    Results. 45 lb increase in bench, arms back from 18.5 to 19" cold weight from 246 to 260...

    I don't need much orals..Today I ordered some anadrol powder and Syntherol for the Tri's and Bi's...i'm going to cut to 245 lbs and then here we go

    Approx 8 weeks from today...this will be 10 weeks off. My off that is

    1-8 test 1200 mgs
    1-8 d-bol 50mgs
    1-6 Drol 100 mgs

    Syntherol 2 injections in ea haed of the bicep for 30 days...2 injections into the lower and outer head of the tricep..
    Week 1 will be 1cc in ea head. week 2 2cc's and week 3 3cc's in ea head...Not looking forward to the innner head of the bicept...Today shot 1cc (slin pin) of HCG in the inner head of the bicep to see what it would feel like..It hurt like hell and cramped for 10 mins...can't imagine a 25 x 1" pin especilly when you get to 3cc's



    Oh by the way..I brew and cap all my own gear...If anyone needs help with such, PM me and I'll help you along...It's very simple but time consuming

    hi! welcome aboard! One question.. why u think ur strength has gone down from what it was. Im asking this since u have cycled all along, right? Is the reason in dropped dosages, changed training, age caught up, losing all that weight or some other reason I cant think of right now. Still going strong for a 60 year old =) but since u had 600+ bench at one point im wondering..

    Well first of all my weight is 60lbs lighter...But the best answer is age...Even Ronnie can't throw around the weight he could a couple of yrs a go..listen one of my good friends I keep in contact with is Phil hernon...Even he how can't throw the weights around he ud=se to....Lighter weight will equal smaller muscles..Have you seen Lou onKing of queens lately..he continues to workout and look how much smaller he looks...Probably no gear but HRT..Maybe a little more like me..i stay on 400mgs min.all yr round. Rioght this moment on the 400mgs i can get about 345-350 on the incline for 2 reps...When i increase my dosage about 385-390 for 2...Last yr 410 for 2..At the same size lost about 20lbs on the bench...hey there are days where i have a hard time getting 300 on the flat bench...I really have to mentally prepare for the entire week to get my max going...It's tough at my age to even get out there when going full bore to failure with as heavy as you can go...

    Note: I take all sets to failure except for Squats, Deads and Bent over Rows...The back will give out first putting you in a dangerous position on the three above

    While this isn't quite a steroid question but it's cool to hear from an old school body builder. Isee you are from cali...did you train at the golds in venice beach with arnold and them?

    No to much playing around...I have always trained at home...I have everything I need in my 1200 sq Ft building..I love training by myself...get in get to work and get the hell out...

    I have had a enlarge prostate since I was 25, before ever using gear...Nothing has changed..I have a PSA 2 x a yr will good resulkts

    Nice to hear good success after that many years of AAS use. I know you mentioned you usually do 8-12 week cycles, as outlined above, with an off peroid of about 10 weeks as you mentioned also. Now, you mentiond that you never go below 400mg Test all year. Is that on cycles or when your off you continue with 400mg test. I wasnt sure what exactly you ment. When your off, are you off everything completely?

    When I'm off I'm still doing 400mgs a week...I have a buddy of mine that is 64 and he never goes less then 1 gram a week and has been doing this since the days of horse and buggie...LOL...He does one lg cycle a yr for 12 weeks around 2.5 grams a week. No I've only done a few cycles 10-12 weeks...Most of my cycles have been 6-8 weeks in length...In a matter of fact all my cycles the last 2 yrs have been 6 weeks only..I like it better this way...After 6 weeks I don't feel any more strenght gains or size...Speaking of size, very hard to gain at my age..I really have to eat alot which is also tough now days..and the added weight wants to go to more fat then muscle

    Not trying to be a AH...but...it sounds like you never go off the juice???

    Coming off the juice means getting the receptors clean and sensitive again for anabolic agents that will help you syntheisize protein and help expand your current muscle tissue....THAT MEANS NOTHING...no reduction from 2g to 400mg....or any other AAS.

    I can appreciate the fact of you doing juice for 30 years and training that long as well but...lets be honest...You don't come off the juice and if you did...you might sink into a deep depression at your age.

    Real glad you joined us and shared all of this. I am 37 now and have been using AAS for about 9 or 10 years, cant remember lol. Your stats are very impressive, sure we would all like to see a picture of your physique. Sure would motivate me. Im homebrewing everything like you are too, it is time consuming as hell but well worth the savings and nice to know what youre putting into your body.
    Oh, wanted to add that I am impressed that you got your law degree at Ohio State. That law school I hear is hard to get into, one of the best.
