I was wondering just for my own knowledge. Since gear closes the growth plates (ie. accelerates growth) and enlarges prostate, could it also accelerate the onslaught of hereditary diseases the would normally arise later in life without steroid use? THe reason i am wondering is because my cousin has abused anabolic steroids heavily for the past few years and got Crohns disease when he was 24 years old (hes 27 now) which is an abnormal age to have it as it usually arises in middle aged to old people. It is presumabley hereditary as his father was diagnosed with it recently. Could gear accelerate bodily functions so that diseases arise earlier than normal? Discussion on this topic would indeed be interesting, although im not a doctor.
