Was just wondering what the exact reason after drinking for a night the next day my body feels/looks visibly smaller?
Also my bodyweight will be about 4lbs less in the morning

Alcohol is a diuretic
Just researched "diuretic" that clears up my question
thanks kaberle!
yupyup, just like coffee
side note, alcohol also supresses natural testosterone production
Damn, I love coffee too.Originally Posted by GetHugeDieTrying

Are you drinking heavily and running a cycle?
im in college im drinking at a moderate amoucurnt (2 40's) for the night..Not running a cycle at this time (stupid mistake of an 8 week cycle of test E) currently on pct day 11
I am in college as well, so are a lot of members on here.........I would suggest to you my friend to hold off the booze until you have finished PCT
yea its very hard for me im more into the PARTY life right now, although i love to lift weight and get big lol...i've actually been drinking for a while, blood work came back fine and i've kept my gains as well..gains were 13lbs from the 8 weeks of Test E
Makes you piss a lot, too.Originally Posted by kaberle_15

lol, yes it does
Well dude I dont wanna preach to you but I think maybe you should just train naturally for now on. You are in college and should have a good time but running gear and drinking like you do dont mix. You have plenty of time after you're partying days to get serious with training and use aas. Just hold off till pct is done and shotgun one for me too man!
haha yea man im not thinking about AAS at this time as i know drinking does not mix, i just hope to keep what i got at this point lol
thanks Jason, but what does ADH have to do with alcohol??
A serious question from a newbie who's still researching: When you say they don't mix, what exactly do you mean? Does alcohol chemically impact aas? Or is it just a matter of not being able to work out as well if you're hungover? I've seen this said often, and I don't disagree, but just curious about the specifics.Originally Posted by kaberle_15
it will impact aas and ability to keep your gains after the cycle
Funny thing is when I drink i get water retention effects. My nipples get puffy if I drink a lot when i wake up. I know it doesn't make much sense.
Got any references that show alcohol in the blood hinders the exogenus hormones and the methods in which they work?Originally Posted by jk486994
Alcohol inhibits it, causing dehydration.Originally Posted by jk486994

New findings actually show there may be an increase in alcohol consumption.http://alcoholism.about.com/cs/abuse/l/blacer030117.htm
However this shows its only temporary. long term consumption lowers.
WTF please tell me you dont mean 2 40 ozs of a hard alcohol?Originally Posted by jk486994
I assumed 2 40s as in two 40oz beers...
I drink socailly and so do my friends on aas, Hasnt hurt my gains. Also i would trade having a life and enjoying it even if it would cost me 1lb of muscle.
might want to check this source again, it seems that moderate alcohol can raise your test levels,Originally Posted by hugoboss
"The majority of research conducted in the past 25 years, in both animals and humans, has found that alcohol inhibits testosterone secretion. However, a new study found that alcohol can induce a rapid increase in plasma and brain concentrations of testosterone in some rodents. "
"The effect of alcohol (1.2 and 2.0 g/kg) on the urinary testosterone-to-epitestosterone (T/E) ratio was studied by two experiments each conducted with four healthy females and males. The intake of 2.0 g/kg of ethanol within 5 h in the evening significantly increased plasma testosterone concentration and ratio of T/E in urine collected next morning in females. The results suggest that alcohol increases the T/E ratio more in females than in males. The effect of high doses of alcohol on urinary T/E ratio must be kept in mind when doping tests are performed during training periods."
With finals just ending it's really hard for a college kid to avoid the party scene and booze.....
I gotta party tonight, I have to go as I'm needed to keep things in line... that'll keep from drinking too.
The EtOH will also put extra stress on your liver which already is being overworked from the aas. You may not feel the effects now but down the road it will catch up to you, be careful.
it only suppresses your testosterone while you are drinking its not like it just goes down and stays there....the next day it should be pretty normal unless you got completely hammered
